Dupa analiza profilului a peste 800 de manageri și antreprenori romani de top, dupa chestionarea a sute și intervievarea a zeci dintre aceștia, Romulus Oprica surprinde, dupa cum subliniaza antropologul Vintila Mihailescu, pe langa elementele determinante ale succesului și un alt aspect „cu adevarat inedit și valoros:  imaginarul corporatist”, supus „unui foc metodologic incrucisat, analizand apoi diferentele de gen si, mai ales, cele dintre manageri executivi si antreprenori.

„Manageri de top din Romania despre succesul in cariera. O perspectiva sociologica” este o analiza detașata și chiar amuzanta despre„fantasmele timpului de calitate”, despre ADN-ul care te duce in topul managerilor sau antreprenorilor și un sumar fara parti-pris al elementelor care definesc cu adevarat succesul in cariera.  

Este o carte care „ne poate face sa intelegem ceva mai bine o categorie pe care, in lipsa de un termen potrivit, am ajuns sa o numim, la gramada, hipsteri...” (V. Mihailescu).
